Brothers and Sisters,
My name is Anthony Vincent, and I am asking for your support for election as Alternate Committee for District 2C. I have been a proud UAW member since November 3, 2003, and have continued to build my experience across multiple plants and assignments throughout my career.
I hired in at Pontiac Truck in 2003, later transferred to Lake Orion, where I served as a Team Leader, and then transferred to Flint Truck in 2019. Those experiences have given me a broad understanding of workplace issues and the importance of strong, consistent representation for the membership. I currently serve as an Alternate Committee Representative and remain committed to helping members navigate concerns and protect their rights.
The issue I care most about on the shop floor is safety. No one should have to worry about getting hurt while doing their job. I also care deeply about listening to the membership’s concerns, hearing members out when they have issues, and making sure they know someone has their back. I believe every member deserves to be treated fairly, to have the contract followed, and to feel represented.
Coworkers describe me as dedicated, approachable, reliable, trustworthy, honest, and willing to listen. I believe strong representation starts with being available, listening carefully, and making sure members know their concerns matter.
I want the membership to feel like they have been heard; that I am listening, and that I will have their back. My goal is to help ensure members go home safe and feel represented every day.
I believe our union is strongest when we stand united. If elected, I will serve District 2C with dedication, honesty, and a commitment to making sure every member is treated fairly and protected by the contract.
Thank you for your consideration and your support. In Solidarity, Anthony Vincent
