Brothers and Sisters,

My name is Antonio Pritchett II, and I am asking for your support for election as Alternate Committee for District 1C. I have been a proud UAW member since 2012, with 14 years at the plant and 10 years of seniority.

As a third-generation UAW member, union solidarity has shaped my life from the very start. My grandfather spent his career at Buick City, my mother was employed at Flint Truck, my younger sister is now working here, and my older brother is with Chrysler.

Over the past three years, I have served as an Alternate Committee member, gaining experience advocating for members and working to resolve workplace concerns. I have completed arbitration classes at Black Lake as well as contract negotiations and union steward courses at the University of Michigan–Dearborn.

I value workplace respect, clear communication, and helping new employees succeed. Coworkers describe me as a listener, a leader, and a hard worker.

Outside of the plant, I have taken advantage of the TAP program to further my education, earning my associate degree in 2023 and continuing my studies. I have also been active in the community through the Black Student Union at Mott Community College, participating in voter registration drives, canvassing, making blankets for Whaley Children’s Center, and volunteering to provide free family portraits for those in need during the holidays. I also recently traveled to Finland through educational programs.

If elected, I will continue working to strengthen communication, support our members, and ensure every worker is treated with respect and dignity.

Thank you for your consideration and your support. In Solidarity, Antonio Pritchett II
