District 4C Committeeman
Brothers and Sisters,
My name is Chris Russell, and I am asking for your support for election as Alternate Committee for District 4C, representing Pre-Trim 1 and 2, Trim 1–4, and Quality. I have worked at the plant since November 5, 2018, and have held seniority since October 19, 2020.
I come from a union family background, with my father working at Engine and my grandfather working at Fisher Body. Growing up around union values helped shape my strong belief in standing up for workers and protecting our members.
I have completed discrimination and adversity training in Warren, Michigan, which has strengthened my understanding of workplace fairness and member advocacy.
The issues I care most about on the shop floor are safety for our members and ensuring proper training so employees can perform their jobs confidently and correctly. Coworkers describe me as a quick learner, a hard worker, and someone who is always willing to fight for what is right.
Outside of work, I am a proud Flint native, born and raised, and a highly competitive sports enthusiast. Most importantly, I am a father of two boys who are the center of my life.
I believe our union is strongest when we protect one another and stand together. If elected, I will serve District 4C with dedication, accountability, and a strong commitment to safety, training, and fairness for every member.
