Brothers and Sisters,

My name is Dawn Dekalita, and I am asking for your support for election as Trustee. I have been a proud UAW member since December 1, 2003, and have 23 years of seniority with Local 598.

I have served the membership as an Election Committee member from 2016 through 2024, and as Election Committee Chairperson from 2017 through 2024. Through these roles, I have gained valuable experience working to ensure fair and accurate representation of our membership.

The issue I care most about on the shop floor is solidarity. I believe that when we stand together, we are strongest.

Coworkers describe me as honest, hardworking, and always ready to help others.

I am always present to serve the membership and want nothing more than to continue to do my absolute best for our union.
