Jeremy Switzer

Brothers and Sisters,

My name is Jeremy Switzer, and I am asking for your support for election as District Committee Representative for District 1C, representing Paint, Pre-Final 1 and 2/3, Engine Line, and Boxline. I have been a proud UAW member since October 15, 2007, and have worked at Flint Assembly since 2010, previously serving at Pontiac CCA.

I come from a strong union background as a third-generation UAW-GM worker. My father, grandfather, aunt, uncle, and other family members all worked at GM as union members, instilling in me the importance of solidarity, fairness, and standing up for one another.

I have served the membership as both an Alternate and District Committee Representative and have pursued extensive union education, attending Black Lake multiple times as well as completing courses in union history, persuasive bargaining, grievance handling, labor law, and arbitration.

The issues I care most about on the shop floor are fairness, respect, and making sure every member's voice is heard. I believe management must treat all employees equally and that strong representation is essential to protecting our rights and enforcing the contract. Coworkers describe me as dependable, charismatic, proactive, and truthful.

Outside of work, I am actively involved in the community as a volunteer youth soccer and baseball coach. I am also a proud father of two boys, and family is at the center of everything I do.

I believe our union is strongest when we stand united. If elected, I will serve District 1C with integrity, accountability, and dedication, working to ensure every member is treated fairly and represented with strength.
