District 1B Committeeman

Brothers and Sisters,

My name is Stan Dulaney, and I am asking for your support for election as Alternate Committee Representative for District 1B, representing Motor Line, Box Line, Pre-Final 1, 2, 3, and Paint. I have been a proud UAW member since June 9, 2006, with 20 years of seniority and 13 years at Flint Assembly.

For the past 7 years, I have had the honor of serving as an elected Alternate Committee Representative, gaining valuable experience advocating for our members and addressing workplace concerns. I also served as a 2019 Strike Captain and have completed training in grievance handling, negotiation, and bargaining studies, along with GMS training in Orlando. I am also a First Responder, committed to the safety and well-being of those around me.

I come from a strong union background as a fourth-generation union member. Growing up in a union household with a father who was a District Committee Representative taught me the value of solidarity, accountability, and member advocacy.

The issues I care about most on the shop floor are making sure management understands and follows the contract, and improving clear, effective communication at all levels—from team members to leadership. I believe in listening to and educating our membership while working to bridge the gap so we can move forward together as one team.

Coworkers describe me as dependable, hardworking, trustworthy, and a dedicated leader; someone who stands up and fights for the membership.

Outside of work, I am a proud family man and small business owner who cleans and restores shoes, donating many to underprivileged children and those who are unhoused. I also enjoy fast cars, drag racing, and car shows.

If elected, I will  serve District 1B with integrity, dedication, and a strong commitment to enforcing our contract and representing every member fairly.

Thank you for your consideration and your support. In Solidarity, Stan Dulaney
