District 3C Committeeman

Brothers and Sisters,

My name is Terry Oliver, and I am asking for your support for election as District Committee Representative for District 3C, representing Material, Salvage, and Skilled Trades. I have been a proud UAW member since 1995 and have spent the past eight years at Flint Assembly, building a reputation for hard work and commitment to the membership.

I bring union leadership experience, having served as an Alternate Committee Representative for eight months and as a District Committee Representative for one year. I come from a strong union background — my father worked at Buick City and my grandfather at Fisher Body — and I have continued that legacy by expanding my knowledge through training, including attending Black Lake in 2016 and 2025, as well as Law and Arbitration courses in 2026.

I am passionate about making sure management follows the contract, that every member is treated fairly, and that everyone is represented to the best of my ability. Coworkers describe me as honest, dependable, hardworking, caring, and a person of integrity.

Outside of work, I am deeply involved in the community. I have volunteered at a horse farm serving disabled children and veterans, coached AAU volleyball and softball, supported fundraisers such as Chip in for Children and Adopt a Pet, and stepped up to help raise three in-laws after a family tragedy. Family is my foundation, and I have dedicated years to coaching and supporting my children.

If elected, I will continue to serve District 3C with dedication, experience, and a strong commitment to protecting the rights and interests of every member.

Thank you for your consideration and your support. In Solidarity, Terry Oliver
