Wendy Ignash

Brothers and Sisters,

My name is Wendy Ignash, and I am asking for your support for election as Alternate Committee Representative for District 3B, representing Materials, Salvage, and Skilled Trades. I have been a proud UAW member since 2007 and am honored to continue serving the membership.

I come from a strong union background as a third-generation UAW member here in Flint. My dad was a member of Skilled Trades, and the values of hard work, solidarity, and standing up for one another have shaped who I am today.

For the past 7 years, I have served as an Alternate Committee Representative, gaining valuable experience advocating for our members and addressing concerns on the shop floor. I believe strongly in fairness and equal rights for every member, and I am committed to making sure everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

Coworkers would describe me as happy and approachable, and I take pride in being someone members can come to when they need help or have concerns.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on the boat and with my kids and grandkids, which keeps me grounded and reminds me why we fight for fairness and better conditions for all families.

If elected, I will continue to serve District 3B with honesty, dedication, and a strong commitment to fairness for every member.
